According to several reports, Steven Blum has announced that he will be lending his voice to the character Starscream in The Hub's upcoming series Transformers: Prime. The announcement took place at SacAnime, a convention in Sacramento, California that is taking place this weekend, according to the reports. Madmegas4 first provided this information while Sean Long seems to have corroborated this information at TFW2005. Mr. Blum last voiced Barricade and Shockwave in the Transformers: War for Cybertron video game and Dark Scream in Robots In Disguise. Read more.

Apocalypse Comics will be bringing two exclusive IDW variants to this years New York Comic Con. The first is for Transformers #12, which is a homage to the classic Jack Kirby cover of X-Men #1. The second is for GI Joe #23, which is a homage to the unforgettable "Apocalypse Now!" movie poster.
Following up on a previous report. KP Toys have posted images of a Transformers Animatd "GOLD OPTIMUS PRIME" Takara Lucky Draw DVD Mail Away Prize. According to the post there was to be 1000 of these, but they were told from a reliable source that only 300 have been sent out. There will be no more. Take that as a rumor as traditionally there are usually more than they tell us there are.

Well it looks like there's less than meets to eye to the previous report that TF3 had surpased the $400 Million production mark. From a statement posted to his blog
shootfortheedit.com, Michael Bay has stated somewhat angrily judging from the lack of grammar that "Lester is moron. He has no clue about much, other then to try to get internet hype..." It is not exactly clear if Bay is denying the $400M or if he is just trying to distract people when he goes on to comment "Movie is $ just above Revenge."

Forbes.com has named Shia LaBeouf number one on the list of actors that give the studios the most bang for their buck, Reuters reports. According to the financial news' own calculations, Mr. LaBeouf makes $81 for the studios for every $1 he is paid for making a film. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen made $836 million worldwide box office and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which made $787 million. Anne Hathaway (Alice In Wonderland), Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter series), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), and Cate Blanchett (Robin Hood) round out the top five, respectively.

Lestor Speight, who stars as Hardcore Eddie alongside Tyrese Gibson (USAF Retired Master Sergeant Robert Epps) in Transformers 3, has revealed that the film has surpassed Titanic as the largest budgeted film ever, and also revealed additional information on his character. Speaking with Movie Mikes, Mr. Speight says that Transformers 3 surpassed the $400 Million mark and is "still going north!"
Multichannel News is reporting agent Mike Eisner has been named senior vice president, legal and business affairs for Hasbro Studios in Los Angeles. Eisner -- not to be confused with ex-Disney executive Michael Eisner -- had been vice president at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, where among other things, he packaged TV shows and advised on brand integration.
